Katy Smith
Katy Smith is the CEO of AdTec and has been with the company since 2007. With a background in the technology department of a school system, she brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the challenges schools and libraries face. Her unwavering commitment lies in assisting schools and libraries to fulfill their technological and financial requirements, embodying a profound dedication to enhancing the educational landscape through innovative solutions.

Carol Ingram has been an E-Rate Consultant with AdTec since 2009. She graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Business. She enjoys being part of the Adtec team because of the valuable work it does to support educational institutions across the nation.

Darsey Carnal, as an E-Rate Consultant, has aided school districts in their quest for E-Rate funding since 2005. She has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Past experiences with federal agencies and expertise in scheduling and project management give her a unique perspective on the Universal Services Administrative Corporation and its processes which she uses to smooth her clients' paths to funding.

Alisa Corman joined the AdTec team in 2019 as an E-Rate Consultant. She was employed by an Indiana School District for 16 years holding many positions and ended as Deputy Treasurer. Her administrative skills and experience with school budgets provide our E-Rate clients with an exceptional level of service.

Charity Hawkins joined the AdTec team in November 2011 as an E-Rate Consultant. She brings more than 15 years of experience from the banking industry and sales, with a primary focus in customer service and sales management. Charity uses her customer service skills and sales management experience to offer schools and libraries the best E-Rate support possible.

Chastity Hinshaw has been employed as a support staff member with AdTec since 2016 and joined the ranks of E-Rate Consultant and Capital Asset team member in 2021. She was formerly the Deputy Clerk for the Town of Centerville, IN. Using her administrative skills, sales management, and customer service experience, Chastity is excited to partner with schools and libraries to capitalize on E-Rate funding.

Bret Lewis worked as a superintendent of schools in Indiana for twenty-three years. Also during his administrative career he was a middle school principal and an assistant principal. Bret has four degrees from Indiana State University (B.S., MEd, EdS and PhD). Bret began working as an E-rate Consultant in January 2013. He utilizes his understanding of school budgets and federal grants to benefit AdTec clients.

Ellen Lewis joined AdTec as an E-Rate and Capital Assets Consultant in 2021. Before that, she was an assistant librarian in a public school and an elementary teacher for 24 years. Ellen is a graduate of both Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and Indiana State University with a Master of Education degree. Her love of education brings a strong desire to help schools and libraries meet their E-Rate needs.

Kristie Martin joined AdTec as an E-Rate and Capital Asset Consultant in 2019. Coming from the world of mortgage and banking, she brings 25 years of expertise in government forms and procedures. Kristie serves schools and libraries across Central/Northern Indiana.

Steve Renzino joined the AdTec staff as an E-Rate and Capital Assets Consultant in June of 2022. Steve worked in public education for 18 years where he taught elementary school and was a middle school assistant principal and principal. Steve graduated from Purdue University with a degree in elementary education and earned his master’s degree in educational leadership from IUPUI. Steve uses his knowledge of the inner workings of schools to provide E-Rate services to schools and libraries.

Rebecca Revely joined the AdTec team in 2015. Prior to joining AdTec, she taught within school districts in Kentucky and also in West Virginia. She now works to make sure that libraries and schools are able to receive their full E-Rate funding. Her desire to see libraries and schools receive E-Rate funding and expand their technology helps her to serve clients with diligence, detail, and enthusiasm.

Dan Rice joined the AdTec team as a consultant in 2016 after a 30-year career as a teacher and technology administrator in Indiana school districts. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Education from Ball State University. Dan has been involved with the E-Rate program for more than twenty-five years, and is proud to have contributed to the success of dozens of school districts over his career.

Karen Rutledge joined AdTec in 2015 as an E-Rate Consultant. She comes from a long line of educators and librarians. Her valuable experience helped her develop the ability to simplify complex scenarios to expedite the E-Rate approval process. Karen loves helping her clients maximize their E-Rate funds and seeing the benefit it brings to schools and libraries.

Kelly Duncan joined the AdTec staff as an E-Rate Consultant and Administrative Assistant in January 2017. Kelly's prior work experience provides her the opportunity to offer high level, detailed work for her E-Rate clients. Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Liberty University.

Eric Sieferman became a member of the AdTec team in October 2023, following a distinguished 23-year career in public education, encompassing 7 years as a teacher and 16 years as an administrator. Additionally, he gained valuable experience working at a distance learning company in roles such as campus director and recruiter. Eric's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Franklin College and a master's degree in Education Administration from Butler University. As an E-Rate consultant, Eric derives immense satisfaction from the knowledge that his efforts contribute to providing vital learning opportunities for students, which schools might otherwise struggle to afford without maximizing their E-Rate dollars.

Sarah West returned to AdTec as an E-Rate and Capital Assets Consultant in April 2023. She previously worked with AdTec in 2013 - 2015. Sarah has 18 years in Human Resources Management in corporate and non-profit settings. Sarah is a graduate of Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Math Education and Bowling Green State University with a Master of Organization Development.

Heather Yaggi joined AdTec as an E-Rate and Capital Asset Consultant in 2018. Coming from the world of real estate and title examination, she brings 20 years of expertise in government forms and procedures. Heather serves schools and libraries across central Indiana.
